34 Week Pic

A little late posting this pic. I'm now 35 weeks along. No complaints other then BREATHING! Can a girl get one big breath!? Walking up and down stairs has become a chore and reaching over the counter is out of the question...hello ginormous belly! My pregnancy profile notified me that I am 35 weeks along...and only 35 days to go!! Better start practicing lamaze... 

We finally set up a few baby items. It's been a shit show between our two homes. One crib here..one pack n play here. One swing here..one bouncy seat here. 

In other news..the car seat is installed and I keep buying more baby holiday clothes! I couldn't resist..

Labor Day weekend is almost here! Our weekend will be full of yummy food and mason jars filled with festive adult beverages :)

Baby Boy is head down!

Boden is NO LONGER BREECH! I was so glad to hear at my 34 week check up a few days ago that Baby Boy is head down and ready to go! He must be riding a tidal wave in there...holy shit, I swear he's going to snap one of my right ribs! :|

After reading tons of reviews..we finally chose a baby monitor! There are so many out there with such a range in price that it was difficult to pick the perfect one to suit our needs. We decided on the Motorola Blink 1. This monitor allows you to view remotely with a App on our iPhone, laptop, iPad or practically any other device! It ALSO has two way communication, pre-recorded lullabies (cause we all know that NOBODY wants to hear my singing voice...), room temperature and night vision. The price is a little high but we plan on keeping it for future babes. We chose this one mainly because we wanted to spy on our little guy with every high tech gadget we own. 

There has been so much talk about baby monitor hackers that this has freaked me out a bit. SO, I plan on combining mine and my husbands nerdy high tech skills to secure our network to the best of our ability. This way we can have all of our out of town relatives spy on the little guy before they even meet him. :)

We finally have some warm summer weather so I hope you plan on pouring a tall one (I WISH....sparkling water and pomegranate juice for me!) and roasting some s'mores before it's all over! Happy Friday!!!

33 Weeks Pic!

I'm a little late..just downloaded my 33 week pics! I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow. Swollen ankles have been ridiculous! I definitely miss being able to shop for hours without getting out of breath and having to raise my chubby feet! 

We also had our baby shower this past Saturday. We FINALLY have some stuff for the baby! Now to put everything together. That'll be interesting. I brought the must haves back to our house and left the rest of the gifts where we will be moving to shortly after the baby is born.

I definitely don't love the typical baby looking things. What is it with boy items being tan!?! No way!! We found as many black & gray things as we could! Now if I only I can persuade my husband to paint the nursery walls metallic gray...

FALL lovin

Hurry up fall!!! It sure is starting to feel like it around here! I just discovered Gap is having 35% off your order today AND they finally put out their Halloween baby clothes. My shopping bag is full already. Little baby chubby cheeks and fat rolls squished into festive outfits. Boom. My day is complete!

33 Weeks!!

Ankles are the size of a softball and stretch marks are growing. Yippie! 33 weeks has come up so fast. Loving every nudge and punch I get in my ribs though. Boden must be fighting some battle in there. Hopefully he stays in there for a couple more weeks because this momma has some serious shopping to do!!

What to put in my diaper bag....5000 tiny diapers?? Hell yes! That's about the only thing I have so far. I've been browsing the web looking at all the lists people give of essentials for their diaper bags. The bigger the bag the better! And stuff it with as many cute blankies  and stylish onesies.

Totally obsessed with the babyganics line and have heard so many great reviews! Hoping these will be a good start to fill my diaper bag! The sassy diaper sacks are a must in my opinion. I don't know about you but I'm not carting around nasty blow out diapers everywhere I go! Those stinky diapers will be stashed away in a mini garbage bag and tossed out ASAP!

I've never been a huge fan of Gap but I obviously have been missing out. Their baby clothes and maternity section are rockin! Definitely stocking up on all their seasonal goodies! Seeing as it will be cold shortly after Boden arrives I plan on stuffing my diaper bag with a variety of colored onesies, adorable vests and fuzzy bodysuits! I'm convinced that Boden will never grow up. He isn't even born yet..but he'll always be a infant. Foreeevver young.

Can't forget about my comedic relief...the pugs in my life. Penny is definitely the laziest of creatures but I can occasionally snap a pic of her short bursts of energy. She'll forever be my first baby.

only 50 days to go!

holy shit. Only 50 days to go. It's about time I start getting the nursery ready for Baby Boden. 

So far we've only got the crib, changing table, crib skirt, and a few wire baskets to store the most adorable tiny diapers ever. Living in two houses...4 hours apart. I'll just have to set up two nurseries :)

Oh, and I found the best diaper bag ever. It's the shit. While out shopping for a diaper bag, I ran into these boogie wipes. Couldn't stash them in my cart fast enough. How freaking adorable are they...I MUST have these boogie wipes for my diaper bag. 

The baby shower is this weekend. Hopefully we can stock up on essentials. Happy Monday!!!!
